Kam Dixon has kicked off his 2025 campaign with a trio of pre-season tests across Europe, getting back in the saddle and shaking off the winter cobwebs ahead of the new season.
First up was the Circuito de Jerez in Spain - a favourite among riders - but it wasn’t quite the start Kam had hoped for.
“Not our most productive test! 😂😂 In fact, nothing at all got tested, and we didn’t do many laps. But it was good fun and that’s all that matters,” Kam said. “Cleared off some rust from the joints and I’m ready to get going again 👊.”
The team then moved on to Portimão in Portugal, where the weather once again had other ideas.
“Day 2… probably about 15 laps completed today ☔️,” Kam joked. “I could really do with some luck 😂 there’s always rain where we are!”
Luckily, the final stop of the trip - Motorland Aragon - delivered exactly what Kam had been hoping for: consistent track time.
“Finally we got some weather on our side. Very cold, but three dry days where I didn’t miss a lap 👌 Feeling very good too 👊.”
With valuable mileage now under his belt and confidence building, Kam is looking forward to hitting the ground running as the 2025 season gets underway.
